Diff. between 85 & 86 Marathon? need a dash kit
I was wondering what's the difference is between the 1985 and 1985 EZGO Marathon gas carts? I would like to purchase a dash kit with glove boxes but I cant find one for the 85 they all start at 86. Would the 86 fit with a little modification?

Marathons all have the same Front-Section,the difference is the cup-holders,I think that changed in 86',they went from 2 holders to 4.

yes but I would be replacing the 2 cup holder with a 4 and I call that progress.

This might not be the only difference. I have an 87 and it only has 2 cupholders. If you want I could take some measurements or pics and post them so you could compare. Just a thought. I highly doubt there is much difference. I'd guess the reason you don't see one listed for your cart is that the aftermarket guys start to phase out older carts because the market leans toward new and shiny not old and awesome.

I would really appreciate it that would make it so much easier. I really dont want to spend 140 and it not fit.
