Default RXV disabled

We have a 2008 RXV Electric 2+2 Shuttle at work that quit. If you insert the key and select F or R, it lurches an inch backwards and won't move anymore. Voltage is good. Last time it was driven user reported a burning brake smell. What do I need to inspect on this advanced puppy?

Gorno, read-read-read. Take the brake off, its shattered. I know you haven't "not seen" all the other posts about these RXVs. If it "jumps" when you turn the key on, the brakek is f'ed.

Htr, is there a difference in the motor brake for the RXV and the one for the 2five? Other than $25? 610065 & 613176
