2 speed differential
Is there such a thing as a 2 speed rear end for a club car?

Re: 2 speed differential
Thanks for the info. Looks like a nice setup if you can justify the cost. I had a friend who is a mechanic ask me if there was such a thing so I thought I'd ask and see. Maybe one day but for now I'll settle for a motor upgrade.

Re: 2 speed differential
I have one of these 2 speed axles on my cart also. The main advantage is not that of speed, you are correct that a motor upgrade is the way to attain extra speed/torque, but the main advantage is in it's limited slip differential. Great for off road use. you wouldn't believe some of the embankments I can go up out at the hunting club. You would never do some of these places I can go into with your normal 2 wheel drive cart.

Re: 2 speed differential
There are a couple differential options for this transaxle. One is the the limited slip that you mentioned above, another option is the manual locker. It can be activated at any time so if your going down a trail and see some slimy stuff coming up you can activate it without stopping or even spinning a tire.
