Re: Club Car No Serial Number Plate ???
Mine has a duplicate serial number plate on the top of the rear frame rail on the passenger side next to the inner wheel well. You should be able to see it through the inspection cover

Re: Club Car No Serial Number Plate ???
It is a DS 2000.5 or up unless top/supports have been upgraded. Seat back looks homemade.

You have a license plate, doesn't it say on your registration?

Re: Club Car No Serial Number Plate ???
Thanks guys. Sunnydays I found a serial number where you stated, but it was for the aluminum frame. Mooncarter yes I thought that too...that the seat back was handmade and not very soft...lol

Re: Club Car No Serial Number Plate ???
It does appear to be a 2000.5 or newer DS, so there should be a second serial number tag under the key switch/dash panel.
Serial Number 2nd location 008.jpg Serial Number 2nd location 005.jpg FIRST thing to do... disconnect the positive wire off of the battery pack, or sparks may fly! Pop the screw covers off both sides of the panel just outside the glove boxes... Serial Number 2nd location 002.jpg ~Loosen the two screws... (DO NOT remove them or you'll lose the speed nuts!) ~Pull back the top of the dash panel to clear it from the dash trim, ~Pull up on the panel, working it side to side, so it comes out of the bottom rail... (It's not an easy thing to do with the steering column in the way, but the panel is fairly flexible, and shouldn't break!) ~You should now be able to view and write down the serial number. ~Reinstall the dash panel. |
