Default Flare Fender Mistake

I’ve put a lot of time into rebuilding my cart and have it looking pretty good. I painted the body and replaced everything on the exterior except the black trim around the fenders. But the trim over the tires has some scuffs. I have some seen some great looking carts with fender flares and thought I would give it a shot. Make my cart look more aggressive and cover my scuffs/scratches. But after drilling holes and installing 1 flare, I think I made a mistake. It looks way too big. I guess the ones I saw that looked good on other carts are either smaller flares, or they are on carts with larger tires and lift kit than me(mine is 3” lift with 20” tires). If I remove the flare, I will have 6 new screw holes along with my other scuffs. These flares are 3.5 inches wide. Are there smaller flares that won’t look so gigantic? Or some other sort of trim I can install? I was also considering wheel spacers to at least fill the space a little better. What would you do?

Put on wheel spacers bring those tires out a little and the flairs won’t look too big. Amazon sells them in a few different sizes. I put 2 in on mine and it made a big difference

After I installed fender flares the front wheels looked awesome but the rear wheels looked like they were sucked into the cart too far. I put 3 inch spacers on the back wheels but not the front and it looks perfect now. No change in handling or ride at all.

I have to agree, think it looks good! Wheel spacers will definitely give it a more aggressive profile and nice addition.

Thanks, everyone for the suggestions and compliments. I think I'll go with 2" rear spacers and leave the front alone. The front flares are a little smaller and seem to fit better

Summit performance makes high quality billet wheel spacers at a great price.

I went with the 2” Summit spacers. They really filled out the void nicely. I realize I maynwear down the bearings quicker. But I like the aggressive look and don’t put a ton of miles on the cart. I think I’ll leave the front fender flare free. (They saying that fast)
