Default Battery Connected Correctly? 4 12v

Are these hooked up correctly? Brand new us batteries. Used cart twice and hooked up to charger twice and the next morning the wife and I woke up to bad smell that came from garage into most of the house. Is this normal?

That is a split pack Precedent, but basically the Main Pack Positive would be on your passenger side and run back to the solenoid. The Main Pack Negative would be on the drivers side and run to the back of the cart. On that same battery, the Positive (+) Post would be connected with a cable to the 2nd battery's Negative (-) and that battery's (+) would be connected with a cable to the 3rd battery's Negative (-), and that battery's (+) would be connected with a cable to the 4th battery's Negative (-), and then you are back to the Main Pack Positive, which already has its cable going to the solenoid..... (Don't mistake normal charging smell (release of Hydrogen Sulfide) if you do not have it in a well ventilated area)

Rotten egg smell and bubbling is normal for new batteries when charging. It'll go away or be less noticeable when they're broken in.
