Default DS Rear Gear Question

What would cause a cart to lock when trying to push forward, but not backwards?

She's borked?

What year and what drive system?
Does it lock suddenly? Make any kind of noise? Or does it just gradually get harder to push? Does the cart drive OK on it's own in F or R?

A sepex drive cart will have a roll-away braking feature that should work both directions, but you should hear the cart beep, and if nothing else you should be able to hear the cart motor make a slight buzzing sound if the roll away feature is working.

Brake adjustment can affect how easy it is to push the cart. And can make it more difficult to push one way than the other.

It's a regen 2 cart. Not running, been sitting a while. Something for sure is locking in the motor or rear. I haven't started looking at anything yet. I thought I remembered a similar thread a while back, but couldn't find it. The owner didn't want spend more than $700 on it. It definitely needs batteries and probably a rear end, before we can even get to the controller.
