He appears to have gone MIA. I even PMed him and havnt heard back from him. I ordered the same coilovers last week, they are scheduled to be delivered Wednesday. Friday is when I plan to install my lift, coilovers, wheels and tires. Ill be sure to give feed back once done.

I have ben looking at this mod for a bit and I wonder how well it would work if instead of just getting rid of the leaf spring, you add a swayer back in it's place? It would have to be custom made and then played with to add the right flex, etc. Just a thought.

What are you calling a swayer back?

Do you have any photos of your front end setup?

Were you looking for a softer ride or something else?

Thanks

No real goal just tinkering with it as I would like to use it more off-road and the front end was to stiff and not stiff enough when I removed the front helper leaf spring.

See attached sitting on ground...

Thanks for the photo.

I would wonder if that top hard point is beefy enough for the entire front suspension load (along with the hard point on the top A arm, but that one seems a little more substantial to me than the flat steel pieces on the top)?

In stock form the leaf spring in the front spreads the entire load basically on the lower A arms and "frame" (if you want to call the alum. I beams that, but the steel bracket in the middle is pretty substantial) it seems to me, but I'm no mechanical engineer.

I took the short leaf out of my front (factory lifted) end a good while back - it improved the ride smoothness for me a lot. But I don't ride off road, so we're probably after different results.

How long have you been using it like the way you have it pictured?

Thanks
