Speed, in an electric motor vehicle, is as simple as spinning the motor faster, (increasing the RPM). Torque is a matter of larger windings pushing smaller ones. Horsepower applies, but not in the same sense as a gasoline engine.
Ultra simplified but that's the gee wiz of it. |

PQ is pretty reputable. You might want to call them and discuss the motor with their rep. Ask them how they get that extra 20%.
I see you bought the PQ motor. Step one is now complete!! :) |

I am in this same situation. Wondering wether to use my old plumquick marathon motor or the regular txt with 1/2 more hp.
