Default Plum Quick Question

I have a co-worker that he and I was talking about carts. He has a 2012 CC 48v (6-8v) and was looking to upgrade his motor/controller. He mentioned that it would cost him $1800 to do the upgrade. I talked with him about Plum Quick, but how does this work? He is looking at the Bandit model and would pay the core charge and mail his motor to Plum Quick or it once he swaps it out. However the process works.

Does he need a new controller or does the stock controller have enough amps?
