I built one for my 89 marathon...as soon as learn how to post pictures I will show what I did. I did have to totally remake the streering arms. But after it was done it all works with my stock tires and wheels. (I can't afford new rims and tires yet) But if I ever need to do it again I think buying the kit would be the best...I spent the better part of a week welding and desiging the front and rear lift. If I charged myself for my own labor...it would have been outragously expensive. My rear shock mount doesnt work (shock is too long) I like rear shock mount that Crash made. On a different note I added a front 2" reciever hitch that bolted up to the front.

Crash, Do you notice any rear axle twist when you push the accellerator? Since I dont have the rear shock installed (yet) I seem to get twist in the rear axle. I'm considering building some kind of ladder rack to stabilize the rearend.

None what so ever on the leaf spring model. They are stiff enough to hold it.
