OK now that we are through pickin on scotty, I agree voltage is to high. Sounds like voltage reg. Disconnect wire on DF terminal on starter generator, See if bog goes away.

My best guess is even tho they look the same when revved on stands in F&R pull the secondary and inspect it for wear and tear.
