I checked the linkage and everything looked ok, I also switched out the main jet. The old one appeared larger and seemed to make an improvment.

Mikesmotortoys - are you refering to the "idle" screw on the carb connected to the throttle linkage? Based on how these carts operate, I agree it doesn't need to be there. I didn't check it, but, it could be holding the butterfly open slightly and causing my problem especially since it's an aftermarket carb.

The belt measured 1 1/8 wide and doesn't look rotten, I may go ahead and replace it anyway. It still revs up momentarily before moving and feels like its slipping. Again that may just be a trait of the EZGO's.

Thanks again guys for all the great advice..

Checked the screw on the linkage and found it was holding the butterfly open ever so slightly. Took the screw off and put it in my pocket. Between that and running some cleaner through fuel system the Cart runs great. Still a little lag in the take off, but, I think a new belt will improve that.

Thanks again for the assistance...

Threw a new severe duty belt on it today and what a difference. A lot quicker on the take off.

For anyone interested EZ-GO extended their 15 percent off offer thru March.
