Default G16 Oil Seal Issue

I'm working on rebuilding my G16, and I drove new oil seals in yesterday. I didn't think and just tapped them in until they bottomed out. The issue now is that I can tell they are rubbing against the bearings and there is some resistance when spinning the crank bearings.
Do I need to buy new seals and start over, or are there any suggestions to get the seals back out just a touch so they aren't rubbing on the bearing?

You can use a seal puller (they make a tool for that) or a 90 degree pick tool. Carefully go under the lip and try to pry it back a bit. Shouldn’t need to move much and since you just installed them, they shouldn’t have stuck themselves too good yet. You may be able to move them enough.

But that’s a 50/50 chance you may still either tear the seal or knock out the spring the holes the seal tight to the shaft. I’d probably order a spare set of them just to be safe.

And no. Don’t let it go. The crankshaft will win, it won’t do any damage to the crank or bearings. But it will wear out that seal pretty quickly and it’ll leak again.

I took a very small flat screwdriver and put it between the bearing and seal and gently tapped around at different spots. I think that's done the trick.
