Welcome to BGW. I just installed a lift on a G1 for a customer/friend. If you get it stripped down, check the clutch bolt to frame clearance. I heated and reformed the frame so the bolt would clear.

Here is one that I just finished. I too thought the body could use some help, so I started cutting. Working off of a budget will make you cut corners sometimes, but was pleased with results. Built my own lift kit and painted myself. Painted the seats with vinyl paint. Used some diamond plate on the footboards. Anyway see what you think. Thanks.

hey that looks good i am looking for some ideas for my g1 can you tell me more what kind of lift what size tires io noticed you cut the front cann you give me some more close up pics thanks mike
