How many watts is your reducer? And how many watts for each light?

LED current draw is typically less than that of a halogen lamp, depending on the type and how many LEDs are in the light.

I've got plenty of power in my reducer Fairtax4me, but my reducer is at the front of the cart and all the wiring for the reversing lights will be at the back so it's easier to use the 48V rather than the 12V circuit.

I will play around with arrangements and see how they work but I was interested in getting an expert opinion before I started.

I think the reverse buzzer might be a better location for the connection since the FNR if left in Reverse still has power even when the charger is plugged and the buzzer is OFF.

That way You can make all the connections upfront and use any combination of LEDs or other lights.

I have some high power 6w LEDs across the bottom of my Precedent wired like this:

These guys are pros. They don't do things that way. That sounds like something I would do. Click on the link above yawood provided "57 Chevy Body on DS."

Seems to me 10' of 12 or 10ga wire and $5 of 1/4" loom would be easier.

Thanks Sergio, I'll do that but with 48V where your 12V is. As you said, the relay will handle it.

Sorry Mooncarter, I've been busy with a million other things and I haven't done it yet. I'll report in when I finally get around to it.
