Looking for trailer hitch that fits this type of seat

Hi there,

I have a 2003 DS (Pathway) cart with this type of rear seat on it.
It was purchased with the seat installed, so I don't know what brand it is.
I am looking to add a 2" trailer hitch so I can attach a light aluminum cargo carrier.
I have found the universal hitches but it looks like that bar in the middle that holds the license plate will get in the way...
Does anyone know what brand/type of seat this is and if there is a bolt on hitch available?

It won't hurt to put he hitch off cent a couple of inchs if that would work.

What kind of weight are you going to be pulling and would a rear seat hitch that attaches to the rear seat foot board work? I've pulled a 5x8' trailer loaded down many times with my foot board hitch without issue.

If you look at the universal style hitches they look to me like they have to be centered on the bottom of the seat so the tabs that attach to the outside line up.
I will look through the sponser site but what I am really looking for is for someone to tell me what brand seat this might be so I can contact the vendor and find out if they make a direct bolt-on.

I'm only attaching a lightweight aluminum cargo carrier that we are going to put beach chairs in and stuff like that. Nothing heavy.

Yes, I am looking for one that attaches to the rear seat footboard... Most, like the madjax one, are made for a footboard that doesn't have that center bar like mine. I'm wondering if there is something that is a direct bolt-on for the brand of seat (which I don't know) that I have.

All I did was get a truck step bumper hitch and bolted it to the floor of my rear seat foot board.
All I ever hitch to it is a garden trailer and a small boat trailer. it's not been an issue in 7 years. works great around my small farm though.
yeah it's not the Golf Cart way, but it works.

I did the same on my XRT800, I got it at Harbor freight for around $12.00

When you can’t find one make one I had to make my own so I could clear my bumper I added to it on my back footrest if you could draw it up with good dimensions I could make one for you that would sit below the bracket just have to pay for materials and shipping
