FR switch

98 ds 48v

I recently lost reverse on my cart. I bought a replacement forward reverse switch and installed it. I diagrammed the wiring from the old switch to carry over.

I hooked up all the wires per my old diagram (even though colors on micros didn't necessarily match) and now I don't have forward or reverse. When I plug in the reverse buzzer it works. I can also hear it click when I change forward/reverse.

Any thoughts on what the issue might be?

Sasgrf, look in the "stickys" in the Club Car Electric section. Find the wiring diagram for your cart and make sure you have it wired correctly. Sounds like it is not.

I think there are 2 blue wires going to that FNR. One to the controller, one to the motor. Make sure they are not mixed up.

Thanks for the help in finding those diagrams - Surprisingly the blues were spot on, it was another one I had reversed...ugh! Thanks again
