I also need to install a reducer. I have a 48 volt (8 x 6-volt) 2009 Stealth patriot that has a winch (draws 25 amp), lights and volt meter. I would love to have this drawing to go by. I was nervous about installation. Post when you can.

Here ya go. I also added the battery cables & controller. For the Stealth guy, this diagram wont be right for you unless your solenoid is always on when key is on, like rxv.

We do it this way on rxv because tapping into rxv keyswitch usually costs you a motor controller.

Looks good. Also, be sure to put a fuse somewhere on the yellow wire.
