Well, i figured out what the issue was. Pulled all the vent caps to check the levels, and they were perfect. However, the vent cap on the battery past the one i had the issue, all 3 of the yellow valves were broken off. I was able to fish one out, but the other 2 are up under the case somewhere. Hoping this doesn't cause any major issues. Figure before i charge it next time, i will pull the cap again to see if i can see them and possibly fish out. Pretty pissed right now.

I've been using BFS system for few years...only had one problem ...changing out the batteries...discovered one cell was nearly dry as the valve had stuck....since then I watch the white level disks carefully..and now and again remove the valves making sure they are free

Question for you guys that pulled the Hydrolink off. Are you just removing the snake tube, or replacing the master vent caps entirely?

My cart had just came off a 3yr lease from a golf course when I bought it and had a Hydrolink system installed. I didn't have any regular caps lying around and wasn't about to buy any for batteries that would only charge to 85% SoC, so I just cut the tubing between batteries. I left the three caps per 6V battery tied together so they wouldn't roll off and it didn't matter if one or all three of the cells exploded, that battery was trash anyways.

Completely negating the so-called advantage of using the system. If you need to remove the cap to see and know 100% what is happening in a cell, what’s the point of the system?

The point of the system is to speed up the process of watering the batteries on a golf course where there are 100 or more golf carts. For the individual, it's not worth the trouble.

They are crap!! Get rid of them now! I would not want my kids riding around on top of a bomb waiting to go off. If you too lazy to lift the seat and check water, buy lithium set up.

If you worry about a bomb going off from linked lead-acid batteries you should see what a lithium explosion can do. I've seen golf carts with bodged lithium conversions become permenant parts of the concrete driveway from the fire.
