i just ordered the yamaha speed spring and power kit from cartspartsplus cant wait for them to get here

I talked to Tom about the Power Kit & the Clutch Tuning Kit today. I checked out my clutch & belt last night. Just how necessary is the machining for this to work?

The power kit works fine without machining. The machining will make it even better though.

ok i installed the speed spring. it says i need to adjust it. how do i do that? do i adjust it in or out? it doesnt seem to be faster its about the same.

Haven't gotten mine yet but am watching how your install goes. Maybe contact CPP on this. Many people have raved about the customer service there.

Also, I'm curious how you tested how it worked out. I'm thinking about doing a timed run, maybe a block long? And comparing top speed up a specific hill near our place.

Tighten the 10mm nut.
