What's that darn noise? 2001 EZGO TXT 295.
Hi all,
I have a 2001 TXT with a 295. A couple of weeks ago I adjusted the accelerator cable and the forward / reverse cables. Ever since then I get a noise that almost sounds like a baseball card stuck in the spokes of a bike tire. It only happens when the cart is going 16MPH and higher (per GPS). It's the oddest thing. It seems like as soon as it hits 16MPH the noise starts. Cart seems to be running just fine, but this noise is annoying the heck out of me. It's not very loud either - just annoying. I know this is a tough one, but does anyone care to venture a guess as to what this noise could be? Thanks a lot. |

I did adjust the valves about 2 months ago. Think I should check them again? I just thought if it was a valve issue it would make the noise at all speeds, not just 16MPH or above.
