also i cleaned the heck out of my contorller and imstill getting 28v across B+ and M-. i aslo, just to double check. used an analog vm and still got the same voltage across B+ and M-

Disconnect the 250 Ohm resistor across the main solenoid terminals.

removed resistor between the 2 big connectors on the solenoid.

37.47v on side of solenoid close to batteries.
0.52v on solenoid on controller side
0.52v at B+ to BL-
0.18v At B+ to M-

should i be sending full batt voltage from FNR to A2 when in forward and reverse?

Are those voltages with pedal up or pedal down?
With pedal up, everything except battery side on solenoid ought to read zero.

With pedal down just far enough for solenoid to click, everything except B+ to M- should read Battery Pack voltage.

If that was pedal down, your solenoid is bad. (Just because it clicks doesn't mean the contacts are good )

BTW - reinstall the resistor after you get it running - it keeps the solenoid contacts from pitting as bad.

All pedal up! Also not sure if this may have something to do with it but I'm only getting 8v between BL- and C (to A2) on FNR. Cleaning now will see what happens.

GOT IT JOHNNIE!!!! Turns out the D post on FNR was burnt on both carts! Replaced it and I'm up and running
