Default Install HD Switch Cam from Scottyb, no forward now

I switched out the stock switch cam for the HD cam from Scottyb. I now have no forward. Reverse works correctly. In reverse the buzzer comes on, solenoid click as pedal is moved forward and the cart backs up.

In Forward the reverse buzzer shuts off, the solenoid clicks when the pedal is pressed, but it doesn't go. Is that an indication of power not being transferred through the F/N/R ??

Well I tightened nut B all the way down, and turned 1/2 turn back. Still the same thing.

No forward, the controller even flashes green like it's supposed to, so it has to be something in the F/N/R..

Are you certain that when you installed the HD cam....that you didn't by chance bend or tweak one of the micro switches?

Ask me how I know something like that would happen!

I actually thought the same thing. I checked that both switches engage and disengage properly. I will check again, since it won't hurt to any way. Thanks for the tip.

So can someone tell me what state the MS with Blue lead should be?

I get closed in F, closed in R and open in N

Also can someone tell me what state the MS with the Orange lead should be?

I get closed in F, closed in R and closed in N. (which doesn't seem right to me...)

I believe that MS is faulty.

The microswitch with the Blue wire is MS-2 and is working the way it is supposed to. (Applies voltage to keyswitch when in F or R, but not in N)

The microswitch with the Orange wire is MS-4 and should only be closed when in R. (It turns on the beeper and puts the controller in half speed for reverse.)
Something is wrong with your measurements or your ears.
Because if MS-4 is closed in F, N and R, the beeper would be sounding in all three positions.

That being what it may be, if MS-2 was bad, the solenoid wouldn't click.
If MS-4 was bad, the beeper and half speed reverse wouldn't work right.

If the cart runs in reverse and solenoid is clicking in F, the current isn't getting through the F/R contacts for some reason or another.

Check the continuity of the F/R contacts in F and R.

In your picture I can not see all 4 studs on the back of the F&R. Can you hold the cell phone down low enough to show all 4 studs?

What year is the cart?
