Default Star EV will run then quit??

I have a Star EV and it will run just fine then it will just quit. I replaced the solenoid on it but that didn't fix the issue. Any suggestions?

We need more information to help. Sepex or Series, are you hearing any clicks when the pedal is pushed?

It is a 2009 Star Electric model # Star48-2-RW
It has 6 - 8-Volt batteries. I replaced a Curtis/Albright solenoid SW80B-156
It will run for a short distance (aprox 100 yards) and quit, then rest for a short period then run again for aprox 100 yards then quit again. Voltage in the batteries are good. Each battery shows over 8 volts. Hope this helps you diagnose the problem.

What is the voltage while in operation? Batteries can show good voltage while static, but can collapse while in use...

If your showing that much voltage while driving the cart and/or just before it cuts out then it sounds like your batteries are ok. Since you changed the solenoid and it solved nothing you know that was not it... I'd be looking to troubleshoot the controller next...

Look at the speed magnet on the motor for any hairline cracks.
