RXV Charger Receptacle Wiring Help

I have a 2015 Bad boy buggy Ambush IS. Ive been having problems charging it and after using 3 different chargers I have learned that it was the RXV connector on the carts side. Now from what Ive read already it seems to me that the 3rd wire "smart wire" Is supposed to go to a ground. I bought it at an auction and the 3rd wire was on the positive side.

I want to get a for sure answer on where this wire is supposed to go. I have already received the rxv receptacle. But want to make sure I set it up right to avoid any possible damage.

Please let me know any information you might have. Thanks
