Default Winch on 72V system

I have a 2014 Bad Boy Buggy Recoil that has 9 8v batteries. Yesterday I bought a 5000lb winch from harbor freight. My plan with the winch is to pull myself out if I get stuck and pull deer up hills during hunting season so I won't be using it a ton. My question is do I try to mount a 12v battery somewhere and just run it off that or run it off 16v? Wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
