G16E starts slow then gets normal
I've got a Yamaha G16E (SN JN8-F4236-10, in case somebody cares) that recently started acting oddly. When starting from a stop, it has very little power, and there's a whine coming from somewhere. It will accelerate very slowly, and then at some point, it's like somebody threw a switch and voom! Of you go. At that point it's normal until you stop again. From a stop, it can have trouble climbing over a ridge in the pavement.
Batteries are less than a year old. The Eagle charger says they're 100% charged. I've got the shop manual, but I figured I'd ask here before I start running all the electrical component tests. Has anybody seen this symptom? |

Thanks, Sivart, that'll give me someplace to start looking.

Motor Brushes might be at fault there.

Also might try...Take the floor mat off, remove the acsess panel, look to see if your throttle rod adjusting bolt and jam nut has come loose. May want to test the "throttle sensor" also. repost if you'd like the test procedure.

Re: G16E starts slow then gets normal
I could definitely use a run down of the values and procedure for this. Thanks
