Should I buy this?
Ive got a chance to buy a 1999 Melex, has a roof, pretty stock, its got good batteries just need a charge, good charger, and everything is fine, no rust, and it needs a good clean up but thats it, the guy wants 75 dollars, im probably gonna buy it, but just want some advise! Thanks!

Buy it if you just want to run it..... do not plan on buying any lift kits or aftermarket stuff for it. It just not out there...... some generic stuff can be made to fit and you can custom make stuff .... but be advised as to the lack of aftermarket accessories.

9 times out of 10 those batteries that 'just need charging' ...... are dead.

No, it runs around, they just didnt charge it for week or so, its just not quick, they were driving it a few weeks ago fast, they just said they havent driven it much since then but i drove it, works fine.

The only thing bad about Melex is they quit making them about 1999 and no parts are available for them.

For 75 Bucks, you can't go wrong-you could get $100 to scrap it.
I'd bring it home,charge it & throw a sign on it for $500 & see what happens. |

Yeah man, brought her home, cleaned her up, she runs! good charger, everything is fine, its a 1999 625E, I really like it! but theres a problem, the guy gave me the top, the supports looked like he bent them all up, anyone got a picture of one to show me if mine are right? thanks!

I would have bought it. Some ezgo parts will interchange. Good Luck with your project!
