Default Dead cart

Hello Folks,

I am trying to get a friends cart going. It had died and I got it working but it is now dead again. He had trouble with the batteries and I have cleaned them up and tried to get the lights going. After cleaning everything, it stopped again.

This is an OLD maybe G2 (old square thing) 36V electric and has been hacked and rewired(by someone) over the years. I can't find any numbers on it anywhere.(may be to rusty) I got the lights working but am at a loss for the cart. I have the directions on how to check the solenoid and I am looking for direction from there. The batteries are charged and there is 36 volts.

Maybe a wiring diagram?

Thank you for you help in advance

Put the cart on jack stands... install a jumper cable between the 2 large posts on the solenoid. The cart should run like that?
Tell us if it runs like that ......
