Clearing the Limp Mode that limits to 15mph
Love my tomberlin - its a shelby with the AC drive. But it seems to get stuck in 15mph mode constantly. Now and then after charging it works right, but then doesn't for another 20 rides. Dealer says when the bats go below 50% it goes into limp mode. Told me how to clear it by plugging in the charger for 20 sec, disconnecting and turning on the cart, then turning off and finishing the charge. Doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

Re: Clearing the Limp Mode that limits to 15mph
Got an answer finally via Ala Cart in Richland, Wa. Here is the procedure:
1. The batteries should be charged up. 2. Plug in charger and unplug quickly. Not 15-20 sec 3. Turn key on then off. 4. Plug in charger for 1 min. or longer then unplug. 5. This should take care of resetting the controller. 6. Test drive if not correct repeat above. |

Re: Clearing the Limp Mode that limits to 15mph
Thanks for this post! Helped me get back up to speed! Had been talking to Tomberline and tech from dealer I purchased it from. No one could help me fix it until I read your post! Went out and tried it and now it's fixed. Thank you!
