Need flares
Ordered a set. They fit like crap. Read a lot of posts here and still haven't seen a clear picture of a G22 with close up pictures of flares. This is a close up of a test fit.
Huge gap at rear rocker Gap at front of front flare No gap at front rocker Thanks...Jim |

Re: Need flares
So, what brand and where did you get them? I want to make sure I don't get them also.

Re: Need flares
I'd rather not in public until my return is processed. I hope you understand. You can pm me if you are really interested...Jim

Re: Need flares
I for one can appreciate Jim not wanting to call out (bad mouth) a supplier or product here but I do think we need a way to pass along information like this to board members. I belong to an Archery forum where we have a supplier forum just for this type of thing. Whether it is a company or individual. We can praise or express our dealings there even if they are a site supporter. Forums in my opinion are a place to learn and help each other. Again, IMHO we don't need products, suppliers, or individuals playing games with our money. Off my soapbox now.

Re: Need flares
Shipped them back yesterday with delivery confirmation. I think that is good enough for me. The flares were purchased on ebay from Gulf Coast Golf Carts. In their defense, they do not produce them, and they are not giving me a hassle with regard to returning them. The manufacturer is GMT. I contacted another vendor on ebay about flares and shared a couple of pictures. He said they use the same line and never had a problem like I am experiencing. Did I get a friday set? Don't know...Jim
