Repair Tomberlin loose steering and rough ride
I recently bought a 2008 Tomberlin Emerge2 with about 950 miles on it. It's a great car but has a couple issues. The steering has significant play in it (about 10-15 degrees back and forth without turning the wheels). When I am going 25 mph down the road, it makes me a bit nervous. I have done some adjustments to align the wheels better which helped with wheel hopping. All the linkages appear bolted tight. Has anyone done anything to attack this problem before?
My cart rides a bit rough. I talked with a dealer whose tech felt like replacing the shocks wouldn't help much. The 2009 model has a different suspension (probably to help with the rough ride). Has anyone swapped shocks or done anything to try to affect the ride and did it work? |

Re: Repair Tomberlin loose steering and rough ride
I increased my ride.. by reducing the air pressure in my tires. Best of Luck
