Emerge Slows to a Crawl after 2.0 Miles
2010 Emerge E4 - 1,250 miles
After a full charge and about 2.0 miles, my cart begins to struggle on grades. During the first trip up the grade (after charge) it will run about 17mph, but after one or two trips up, the cart slows to about 10mph, next trip about 5mph, and next even a little slower. After that 'workout', the cart will run about 14mph on a level road and drops to about 10mph while getting myself home (total of less than 4 miles). So, my first inclination was to replace all the batteries. Did that, but still have exactly the same symptoms. Bad for me, but at least I have some new batteries. I think all my 'local' Tomberlin dealers are out-of-business (Oklahoma) after the tax credit debacle, so I think I'm swimming alone with this one. Can anyone help me diagnose and/or direct me to get replacement parts? Thank you! Dan |

Their website was updated. Recently. Ada electric cars. Not sure where you bought.

I wish I would have seen your question when you first posted....I had the same thing happen to mine....they swapped out the batteries....same thing....it turned out to be a motor sensor was bad....Tomberlin replaced it for free and it's fine now.
