Default Several Problems with 2008, recall question

Hello,

I have a 2008 4 seat Tomberlin and I am having some problems. On Memorial day there was a burning smell coming from the back of my cart. I checked to see if anything was loose or melting, all looked fine. About 15 minutes later the cart stopped working in forward and reverse.

Seven weeks later I finally got the cart back, with no front brakes. I was told there is a recall for the front brakes locking up and I could use the cart with just the back brakes. As for the cart stopping, there was a switch that was replaced (don't remember which) and I new drive motor installed.

The cart worked for 15 miles and now intermittently stops working. If I stop for 30 seconds and play with the emergency brake and forward/reverse switch the cart will start working again for a mile or two and do the same thing. There also is less power then when I got the cart back.

My questions are:

Is there a recall for the brakes?

After getting the switch (I will find out which one) replaced and a new drive motor, why would I be having intermittent problems with the drive? Any help would appreciated.

I can tell you that have changed the front brakes on about 4 of these under warranty and the switch that your talking about is in the boot for the parking brake...if that switch gets dirty is going bad the cart wont run...
