Replace the batteries. Your lites are only running on 12 volts. so they will work even tho the batteries are not strong enough to drive the cart.

By the way, in this post you said the previous problem was the solenoid. But when you pm me, you said it was the controller?? Which was the problem?

It was the solenoid. Looks like a hammer down thing when you give it the throttle it makes the connection like a big round peg punching down.

Hey rangersam, i have a star car aswell and am upgrading my solonoid to cartsunlimted mzj400 and a 600 amp controller. Theres one wire im stuck on by the controller has a ring terminal and is about 10 gauge wire color is red with blue stripe and has a yellow plastic thing around wire has #18 on it any ideas??
