Which rear view mirror? Panoramic? 5 panel wink?
My wife wants a rear view mirror. Her cart already has side mirrors, but she wants a "full view" rear view mirror on the windshield header. So, panorama or 5 panel wink? Which ones do you like the best and why? I told her price was no object, as long as it was under $30!!! THANKS!

Re: Which rear view mirror? Panoramic? 5 panel wink?
I've had several on different carts. Wink and panoramic. I like this one the best. Doesn't move or have to be readjusted. Various sized drivers don't have to adjust it for them. Wide field of view behind cart. Looks like the size would obstruct forward view but surprisingly it doesn't. 5 years on this cart with no issues. In fact I don't think anyone has ever touched it. Not a fan of the wink mirrors but they work and if mounted correctly don't require much attention.

I like the panoramic as all passengers can see behind the cart equally well. Got mine off eBay cheap.

No, but it is similar.
My mirror was installed 5 years ago by the cart builder. I just looked at it and there are no markings at all to indicate brand/manufacturer. This one looks the most like it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/17362749871...kAAOSwC9ReWLTr Mine is mounted to the windshield frame---not the canopy |

Re: Which rear view mirror? Panoramic? 5 panel wink?
I’m a huge fan of the 5-panel.
The trick is how you mount it. They fit right inside the windshield posts, which is super sleek. I’ve mounted several without putting any holes in the cart anywhere. I toss the stock mounting brackets and make nee ones from a piece of aluminum flat stock from Home Depot. I bend it to fit inside the top corners of the windshield/roof support and drill holes in the aluminum bracket to mount the mirror to the bolts holding the roof on. |
