Default Headlights for Yamaha G8

I have a G8 with original headlights that are in very bad shape, and I’d like to get a new light kit, but can’t seem to find anything. What have you guys done?

We need to see pics of what you've got. No one makes a light kit for a G8.

These must be factory original. But they’re cracked in pieces on the back side of the plastic frame so the lights fall in all the way through the body.

Maybe they changed the contour of these to make them fit.

Default Headlights for Yamaha G8

Those G29 lights look very different from the ones I have. My holes aren’t round, so they wouldn’t fit in the same holes...

i have a pair of these i thought they were for a g2-9 but they look the same as yours i think they were from stretch plastics as we bought hundreds of kits from them back in the day.the lights are like blazer lights but bolted to the black plastic bezel assembly. 40.00for the pair brand new if you want them Bruce

Ok- now I see- you sent the G2-G9 light kit but for some reason my link goes to the G29 “drive” lights. They do look similar- maybe that’s what was done.

So the electric G8 didn’t have factory lights?

Do you still have any of these available? I just bought a G8 and need to add lights.
