Appreciated. So POS at the solenoid and NEG from series pack would give me switched power to the distribution in F-N-R

Pos at the solenoid Large terminal (that goes to the controller B+), never the solenoid small terminals.

Used an extended lunch hour to look back several years across this one area in the forum. Goodness, what a wealth of history and information. Now i feel foolish for having asked the questions ... only addressed about 40 times! Funny how i couldn't flange down specifically while doing a search.

Shout out and cheers to the data shared for us all to learn!

Default Done! 12v fuse block and switches to 2014 RXV

Florida rain gave me time to tinker and finish off the wiring and install.

Everything works and i didn't blow the controller

I hooked the same voltage reducer up to run my lights. hooking the positive to the controller side of the solenoid seems to cause the controller self check to deny activating the solenoid if i have the light switch in the on position when i turn on the key. If i have the lights/load off the key switch will activate the solenoid just fine then i turn on the lights. The controller must look at the resistance across the positive and negative lead prior to allowing the solenoid to arm the controller. Can anyone verify this?
