Some Carryall's and larger XRT's use a longer drive belt!
If you have a standard DS, I can see why you think the 31.5" may be too tight, because you just took off a 37.5" belt!

And... YES... that's probably why it's only running 8mph!

These guys will be here soon to tell you the jacked up on blocks, rev engine and slam on brakes to open clutches for easy install on drive belt

I've never had a problem "rolling" the belt over the driven clutch, (wheels chocked, and the shifter in neutral)
BUT... sometimes it helps if you have a friend turn the driven clutch while your holding the belt in position.
Just watch your fingers while rolling it on!

Should go about 18.Just order a severe Duty belt from cart parts plus for 92 up.

With stock 18" tires and governor settings... about 14 mph.
