Default Western may be ez-go?

I recently acquired a 2004 Western golf cart. Wondering how I can confirm if indeed its an ezgo and if there may be a chassis number that would help me get parts?

1997 not a resistor drive cart. Last year was 89 or 90. Maybe your cart is a 87 ?

Lido did not make chassis Western and Lido bought Ezgo chassis and built their carts on them. Their parts mostly consisted of a body, wheels/tires, bigger controller and motor, otherwise it's an Ezgo. I hope this helps

Can you post a picture of under the seat from above showing batteries and everything and one of the entire cart? Also what parts are you needing?

For westerns generally the formula is the first 3 numbers are the model of western that you have, the next 2 numbers are the month and year the cart was manufactured. SO you should have a model 100, built April of 1991 or 2001. A pic of your cart will quickly tell if its from 1991 or 2001 based on the body.

Yeah that's probably a 1991. By 1997 it would have been a TXT and that red western is built on a marathon frame.

Thanks, I dont know how the pic got filped. That makes more sense than April 17 1997. 797 would be the numerical sequence.

Exactly. The last few are the serial numbers identifying each cart made down the assembly line.
