Smile Re: hard shift?

Is it a lifted cart with a rear seat? Sometimes the shift cable will get bent if it is not relocated outside the frame channel.

I would check what DS said first!

But I have heard...
(haven't tried it, nor, does it sound right, but I was told it worked)

Put it in reverse... go slowly backwards (inching along) and slam it in forward!
(It's supposed to remesh the gears...)

I recently had a chance to work on a 06 Precedent, and that thing shifted really easy!

Now my 07 Lynx however, has shifted hard since I bought it new...
I just thought that was normal...
So... I bought one of these! An All Sports DS shifter...
(plus, it looks really cool!)

It shifts alot easier now!
(but, I should back and check the cable for kinks and bends!)

would this make sense since it has been lifted for a while? it sat outside on my trailer for the first time ever as we were out of town! that's the only thing i can think of different! And the first time i noticed it, it wouldn't shift either way, so i rolled it backwards for about 10 feet thinking it was stuck in gear, and then it shifted, but was hard!
