2022 Club Car Onward wont run if using USB port
This will sound crazy but my 2022 gas powered onward will not run if you are charging a phone in the USB port. My daughter kept calling me saying that it would not move and I towed it home a couple times. It would start but as soon as you pressed the gas pedal it would stall out. Finally figured out by accident that it was the USB port. Runs like a champ with nothing plugged into it but will not run if anything is plugged into it. Any ideas here ? Appreciate it !

I have a 2020 tempo and my USB port went out. I just put an aftermarket one in and its fine. IT never did the problem you are having but sounds like its shorting out the ECM or key switch. Kind of like a kill switch. If I can recall the USB connects to the key switch. I would pull the panel and disconnect from key switch or make sure the wires are not touching each other.
If under warranty I would let them deal with it. If not you can get an aftermarket USB ports available that will fit in same hole with a face plate. |
