Looks identical to my 96 except for the black plastic pieces on the rear fenders but mine has been painted so mine could have been pulled off but the seat trim everything is the same. I've been trying to find a carb with a normal choke and make it work off a cable and get rid of the goofy airbox stuff

It has a "Unitized" transaxle so it's newer then a 1996 (97+)

Have you checked under your dash panel to see if there's a second serial number tag?
If you haven't yet... and your going to check to see if it's there... Disconnect the battery!
