1991 Yamaha g2 compression reading 100 psi
Either a 91 or 92. Compression test done several times at full throttle. Valve adjustment fine. Reading will jump up to 150 psi if I put oil in combustion chamber. It is not smoking but does burn through a little oil. Piston rings?

That would indicate that the rings and or cyl is bad. Worn rings or worn cylinder.

You could try using a straight 30 weight. You get too thick and you will probably burn it up.
