I might get time to do that today, once my wife gets back from the pool.
. . . you can open the side cover on the V-GLIDE (pie shaped box), depress the GO PEDAL and see if wiper arm in V-Glide is reaching it's fullest extent of travel . . .

Open the Pie shaped throttle box ( here on known as the V-glide) and check to see if the speed wiper arm is moving all the way to the last contact. On newer carts check to see that your MCOR is reaching full output. It is a mechanical linkage problem that effects all CC with age.(at some point)

All electric vehicles seem to start fast because the motor produces 100% of it's torque at 0 rpm. Torque (perceived power) decreases as rpms raise.

Great! Thanks. I'll check that out. I noticed that when I go down thru the tunnels that go under the streets here, that when I get to the other side of the tunnel and make a sharp turn to go up the steep ramp, it seems to run up the ramp fine, even with someone else in the cart with me. It seems to slow when I am traveling on level ground and the pedal is floored. Hey, it's an old car and it was free, with the house purchase. I am not complaining. Being a Harley bike guy, you can probably understand my need to keep up with the other folks here. I'll have a bit more funding in a couple months to feed the cart with. I will probably upgrade the motor with a Bandit. I am still not sure of the other electrical parts in the system that might have to be replaced during an upgrade. Hey, can't learn without making a few dumb mistakes.
