92 Club Car More Speed
I Am New To This And Appreciate Any Feed Back. I Am Some What Of A Mechanic And I Want More Speed Out Of My Stock 92 Club Car. I Am Not Sure If I Should Just Have The Clutches Machined As I Have Been Reading About In This Forum Or If I Should Just Install A High Speed Gear Set. I Have Worked On Many Polaris Clutches So I Am Curious As To What Modifications Can Or Would Be Done To The Drive And Driven Clutch ON A GOLF CART. I Am Not Looking To Set Records Here Just Want To Get Around 20 Mph. Please Help Me With this Decision.

Re: 92 Club Car More Speed
High speed gears are IMO for carts with hp to spare. Not your average GC and especially not a Flathead Kawasaki. Start with the simple things in the stickies and then progress to the clutch work. Don't forget the shorter belt thing.....
