Default Anyone titled in Oregon?

One of my two Zone NEVs will be titled in Oregon, but I ran into a problem with Oregon DMV needing a certification that it was a "Low Emmissions Vehicle." I know it sounds silly for an electric car, but they absolutely would not issue Oregon title without it. Anyone run into this problem?

My next step will be to call DE to see if they can get me this certification.

Did you try another licensing facility? I had trouble with a Vancouver office, so I went to Battle Ground [my buddy did his there], and had no problems.

Not yet. I figured at this point I would wait until we got closer to delivery. Our Washington title, which we did at the downtown Vancouver DOL, went fairly smooth. I had to make two trips, but they were helpful. The hold up there was the lack of an odometer statement.

I had the same issue, but was able to get it through in Battle Ground

Apparently we're going to be heading back to DMV to get our tax money back.

He paid tax on his, as well.

Vacouver, Washington, actually. But we keep one at our beach house in Seaside (for now-we are in the process of selling that one).
