![]() I bought a lighted license plate frame for my gas club car. There is just one wire on it. Can it be grounded to the cart frame by the bolt on the license frame or do I need to run a wire from the license frame to a ground wire on the electrical system?
Thanks guys |

![]() it should ground though bracket as long as you make contact with steel , if not then you will have to run a ground wire .

![]() If you have an electric cart, you must insulate the mounting bracket from the cart frame or body and run a separate wire from the bracket to the B- of your battery pack. If your cart is gas, just mount the bracket to the frame or ( if yours is metal ) the body.
