Re: gas in my oil
Sounds like either stuck float or a needle/seat that isn't closing off/sealing completely. My riding mower has that problem so until I can fix that I've just put a shut off on the fuel line. It runs fine and doesn't flood when running but if I don't shut the fuel off the tank will drain into the engine in short time.

Re: gas in my oil
On the needle valve, look for a small ring worn into the end of the needle. It can be a very minor ring and still allow this problem. When i fix a cart with fuel in the oil, and find Any ring on the needle, i replace it. 98% of the time, that solves it. The other 2% is mostly attributed to fuel pump problems and carbs that have been previously worked on with a 1/2" breaker bar .

Re: gas in my oil
installed a new carb because the old one was broken where the float retainer pin goes...it was causing the float to stick..

Re: gas in my oil
Good that you found the problem. Sometimes fuel problems can be the worst thing to diagnose. At least when your working on a fuel problem.

Re: gas in my oil
The worst problem by far is the infamous "ghost problem", it will never repeat itself if i am any where near the cart to see it.

Re: gas in my oil
I have the same problem and last year I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, lines and a new carburetor. Carb was an aftermarket one.
